I love news – reading it, covering it, breaking it. Working in newsrooms from Atlanta to D.C. and New Delhi has fueled this passion. I am driven by the incredible feeling of capturing the news, from local developments to events that will go down in history textbooks. I stumbled into journalism in middle school and haven't stopped writing since.

Studying at Georgetown has provided me with a solid background in international affairs and spurred my desire to further explore stories and issues in other countries that impact the world as a whole. However, the university does not offer a journalism minor to students in the School in the School of Foreign service, so I have had to pursue my interest in journalism independently through pitching to sites like The Huffington Post and interning at local publications like The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as well as international news networks like CNN.

I am comfortable juggling multiple projects, leveraging social media for newsgathering and working under tight deadlines. My specialities include political & investigative reporting, web & digital production, breaking news, social media management and monitoring web traffic through Chartbeat.
